updated as of 28 March 2019

GHSA takes a multi-sector, multi-partner approach to accelerate improved capacity on the noted 11 Action Package technical areas. These efforts are intended to help advance implementation of the International Health Regulations and similar animal health and disease reporting systems of the OIE, by building countries capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats.

Since its launch in early 2014, GHSA has grown to include an increasing number of countries around the world, as well as multilateral institutions, and non-governmental partners. These partners, all focused on a collective effort, have worked diligently since the launch to move progress forward rapidly.

Country Roadmaps

A number of countries have agreed to share their own Roadmaps for pursuing and achieving the GHSA targets, in order to help inform other countries that may be considering undertaking this planning effort.
